Mr Sidhu has been Associate Architect in charge of design with Shaw and

Technology he was a recipient of a Merit Scholarship for 5 years  which was
awarded to top two positions in the class. In his final year he was the winner

the Indian Nobel  Laureate. A.K Banerji his design teacher told the class in
his absence that “ Sidhu is my ‘Guru’ I have learnt a lot from him”. In 1962
he left his first job as assistant architect in Carbusier’s office in chandigarh
India for graduate studies under Louis I kahn. P Jeanneret Chief Architect -
Planner chandigarh wrote of him.” We are impressed with various qualities
of Mr Sidhu. These qualities are specially of an architect;  imagination,
observation, politeness and honesty. He received University of Pennsylvania
scholarship from 1962-1964 and Kahn Industrial Scholarship 1963-1964. He
received Master of Architecture and Master of City Planning degrees in 1964.

He joined Shaw and Associates in 1969 and met Pat shaw  and his father .
After The death of Pat Shaw’s father, the job of creating a new design direction
was quite a challenge for both pat Shaw and Sidhu. “During the last 22 years
we both struggled hard to provide architectural services to our clients without
sacrificing quality of design even with very low budgets. For developers of office
space,we got recognition for quality buildings that tenants are anxious to lease”.
